On its journey towards sustainability Madex is providing their customers the possibility to be part of the change by choosing to create increasingly greener garments
Eco-sustainable Outerwear
Manufacturing processes that lower environmental impact and contribute to a better resources management are the key to produce eco-friendly outerwear.
The materials to be able to create more eco-sustainable clothing are already around us. We just need to give them more importance and value them so that they represent a new way of seeing the worl

Eco-sustainable process involves:

Reducing water consumption and greenhouse gas emission that results from the manufacturing process

Creating products that can be recycled by the end user

Using raw materials that do not harm nature

Using raw materials from natural or recycled sources
Each material involved in the creation eco-friendly garments can be classified into four main categories:

The world of sustainable fabrics
Thanks to R&D and technological innovations the the textile industry keeps getting greener. Here's some key elements for sustainability in the textile industry:

1. RECYCLED
The process of converting PET into recycled polyester needs less water and energy than the production of virgin polyester. Most studies show recycled polyester saves energy throughout all the production processes by 33-53 % compared to virgin polyester. Also less CO2 emissions are produced and there is no need to use non-renewable resources (petroleum).
2. BIODEGRADABLE
In order to reduce our environmental impact we developed a nylon yarn which is 90% biodegradable and can decompose, in condition of oxigen absence, at the end of its life cycle.
3. USE OF ORGANIC RAW MATERIAL
Organic cotton fiber allows to develop toxic enzyme free fabrics. Cotton plants are grown in farms where the rights of workers are respected.
