For Pitti Filati 2026, Madex unveils Indigo Edition, a project born from the intersection of product development, material research and garment finishing culture.
The collection reimagines denim through an outerwear lens, using indigo fabrics enhanced with nylon yarns that preserve the authentic character and attitude of traditional denim while introducing the lightness, comfort and functionality demanded by contemporary urban living.
Indigo Edition also represents the meeting point between two companies connected by a shared commitment to product evolution and experimentation: Madex, specialized in the development and industrialization of outerwear and sportswear collections for leading international brands, and Tintoria Emiliana, a benchmark in garment dyeing and finishing, with more than seventy years of experience shaping the culture of Made in Italy garment treatments.
The project explores the relationship between fabric, garment construction and finishing techniques, demonstrating how iconic materials can be pushed beyond their traditional boundaries to create a new language for contemporary outerwear.
